how to build a strong immune system.
It is important for your (immune system) to get
the nutrients it needs in order to function or
act well. There are some not-so-colorful foods
that can benefit your body such as (yogurt) and
(garlic).
Thinking of your diet as a rainbow is another
way to ensure a strong immune system.
- Blueberries are an antioxidant superfood,
which lowers blood pressure in certain populations
and also protects DNA from oxidative damage.
The two most common types of blueberries are:
1.Highbush blueberries: The most common cultivated variety in the US.
2.Lowbush or “wild” blueberries: Typically smaller and richer in some antioxidants.
It is also low in calories but high in fiber, vitamin C and vitamin K. - Prunes increase beneficial bacteria in the colon and contain multiple vitamins.Blueberries are low in calories but high in nutrients.
- Red peppers are packed with antioxidants, contain a ton of vitamin c and also they are great source of vitamin B6.
- Leafy green vegetables e.g cabbage,kale and broccoli provides the indole compounds which may help lower the risk of certain types of cancer.
- Carrots are amazing source of vitamin A, which plays a good role in the immune system and might have an effect on the body's response to infection.
- lastly, Lemons are high in vitamin c, which can improve immune system function.
