FITNESS

Fitness is defined as the quality or state of being physically fit.
Being fit not only means physical health, but emotional and mental health, too.
Fitness means something different to each person, but it refers to your own optimal health and overall well-being. Fitness is far more than simply exercising on a consistent basis.
Fitness has a variety of components and there are many ways it can be measured. Maintaining a good level of fitness is something that we should all aspire to do.

FACTS ABOUT FITNESS

There are many facts about fitness, but here are some of the good facts about fitness:-

  1. strengthening your muscle will increases by fiber hypertrophy and neural changes.
  2. Maintaining your physical fitness can also help cure some disease.
  3. Doing exercise regularly, body composition can change without changing weight.
  4. Also stretching to increase flexibility can ease a number of medical complaints.

COMPONENT

There are five components of fitness. These component include:

  • Cardiorespiratory fitness
  • Muscular strength
  • Muscular endurance
  • Flexibility
  • Body composition
Physically fit depends on how well you fulfills each of the components mentioned above.
you can also tell if someone is physically fit by determining how well they perform in each component.

Cardio respiratory

Cardiorespiratory fitness refers to the ability of the circulatory and respiratory systems to supply oxygen to skeletal muscles during sustained physical activity. Cardiorespiratory fitness is a strong morbidity and mortality predictor, and therefore is a potential link between running and mortality.Also there are activities that helps to improve cardio respiratory endurance.
These activities include;
1.Running
2.cycling
3.swimming and soon.
These activities really improve cardio respiratory.

Muscular strength

Muscular strength is also one of the component of physical fitness.
It refers to the amount of force a muscle can produce with a single maximal effort.
Examples of muscular strength include
1.push-ups
2.weight lifting heavy weight
3.pull-ups.
Also, there are benefits of muscular strength
These include:
1.opening doors
2.Reduce the risk of injury.
3.Help you keep a healthy body weight and Soon.

Muscular Endurance

ENDURANCE
This is the ability of an organism to force itself and remain active for a long period of time as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from, and have immunity to trauma, wounds, or fa tigue. I think you now know what muscular endurance means.
There are exercises for muscular endurance, These also include:
1.Body weight squats
2.Walking
3.Pushups
4.Improving endurance
5.Planks

Flexibility

Flexibility refers to the range of motion for a given joint. Flexibility exercises are activities that improve the ability of a joint to maintain the movement necessary for carrying out daily tasks and physical activity.Examples of flexibility activities include: stretchin, yoga and soon.

Body composition

Body composition is used to describe the percentages of water,muscle, fat and bone in human bodies. This is because muscular tissue takes up less space in the body than fat tissue, body composition, as well as weight, determines leanness.

Body composition exercises include:
1.Modified push-up.
2.Traditional push-up.
3.Stability ball push-up.
4.Front lunge or walking lunge exercise.
5.Lunge variations.
6.Squat exercise with an overhead press.
7.Abdominal plank exercises.
8.Overhead lunge.
